MET Malta started in 1998 with a single tow truck, a Malta phone number and a simple promise: pick up the phone, every hour of every day, and reach the driver fastest.
Twenty-seven years later the promise is unchanged. The fleet has grown, the regions we cover stretch from Mġarr to Catania, and the team behind the line is bigger, but every call still lands with a human and the nearest crew still rolls.
We do three things on the roadside: tow, swap a flat tyre to your spare, and jump-start a dead battery. Anything more complex goes to the garage of your choice. We are not a mobile mechanic service, and we will never pretend otherwise.
What we are is a logistics team. Operators in Malta, vetted partners in Italy and Sicily, our own trucks crossing the Pozzallo ferry every week. Members get priority on the line. Non-members get the same crew, just behind those on plan.

Twenty-seven years, no automated menus. Call and an operator picks up. It is the entire point of what we do.
Honest about scope
We tow, swap tyres and jump batteries. If something is outside that, we say so on the phone, before the truck rolls.
Fast, not theatrical
No sirens, no drama. The nearest available crew rolls, you get an ETA in writing, and the truck arrives.
Twelve trucks. Two islands. One depot.
Light flatbeds for car and motorcycle recovery, medium recovery trucks with hydraulic cranes, and a covered transport unit for high-value vehicles. Every truck is liveried, GPS-tracked and crewed by a MET operator on contract — not a third party.
